Karakoe is a representative design of Mikawachi ware with a history of 400 years. As Mikawachi Pottery developed as the official kiln of the Hirado domain, it was also painted on offerings and came to be known as Hirado Karakoe. The third generation exhibition produced ceramic frames based on the Karako-e that had been passed down from generation to generation.

『人類の宇宙への夢は小説の夢物語から始まり、それは小さなモデルロケットに姿を変え、さらに時代の流れと共にロケットは兵器としての変化を遂げ、そしてまた新たに空の上を目指す「未来」となり、時代と共に様々な夢、そして野望へと姿を変えてきました。
その記憶の姿を具現化する上で、助けとなるのが「文字」、そして文字によって作られた「記録物」です。これらは、後世に自分たちの歴史・生きた証を残すために人類が産み出した発明品と言えます。私は「文字」「記録物」を活用し、そしてそれ自体の「形」の構成により、人類の記憶にある「夢」の姿を構築します。”このロケットは、「暗い過去の象徴」でもあると同時に「人類が生み出した夢と希望」、そして「欲望を実体化させた存在」でもあるのです。　　　　足立篤史』

【能登半島地震災害義援金】　　　　　　　　　　　　2024.2.20　　　　　　
令和6年（2024年）1月に発生した能登地方を震源とする地震で被災された方々を支援するため、原田鎮郎個展　「〜いきものガンバレ2024〜」(1/11-1/21)において募金箱を設置しましたところ、合計45,000円の募金が寄せられました。ご協力ありがとうございました。ギャラリー・フィールドでは、皆様からの募金に、この個展での収益の一部を加えた合計10万円を「石川県令和6年能登半島地震災害義援金」に寄付させていただきましたので、ご報告します。なお、この義援金受付は、石川県が、日本赤十字社石川県支部及び石川県共同募金会と連携して行なっており、石川県災害義援金配分委員会により配分基準等を決定し、市町を通じて被災者の皆様にお届けすることになっています。詳細はhttps://www.pref.ishikawa.lg.jp/suitou/gienkinr0601.html　をご覧ください。
