ADACHI ATSUSHI SOLO Exhibition 「

【 Yueh Hua Shiao ”FUKU is coming”】 2021.10.28
In this exhibition, I take the theme of pufferfish “FUGU”. Except for their beautiful colors and cuteness face, I think they look likes to human face that interest me a lot.
The pronunciation of “FUGU” is the same as the Chinese word “福or富/FU” (happiness and good fortune) that I hope it can be conveyed through my work ~ the temperature of “happiness and blessing”. A lot of gold color or line is also used in my work, I think gold is the symbol of wealth, but I work hard to hope that the work will not be tacky because of this. I am hoping friends who come to the exhibition will like it, with smile on their face and happiness mood to continue their next trip!!

Simon Dalby x Ian Hayden OIL x WOOD 2021・02・06
Simon Dalby paints in oils in a style he calls ‘magical realism’. His paintings have the semblance of photographs and yet they are not. The colours are just that little bit too vibrant, the composition dreamlike in intensity. The magic comes from the interface between painting and viewer. He wants you to suspend your disbelief and become absorbed by the alternative reality on the canvas.
Ian Hayden has been living in Japan since 1987.He likes using the Japanese indigenous woods where possible, as the Japanese climate ranges from cold temperate, to subtropical which provides for a wide range of wood types. The wood grains are well often well defined and there is considerable variation in colour and texture. He find s great pleasure in unleashing the natural beauty in these woods, designing his pieces to be integrated into your daily life.

Shiao Yueh Hua ”FUKU is coming” 2020.07.05
In this exhibition, I take the theme of pufferfish “FUGU”. Except for their beautiful colors and cuteness face, I think they look likes to human face that interest me a lot.
The pronunciation of “FUGU” is the same as the Chinese word “福or富/FU” (happiness and good fortune) that I hope it can be conveyed through my work ~ the temperature of “happiness and blessing”. I have also added some elements of Chinese opera and Japanese Hanakomon, hoping to express a bit traditional atmosphere. A lot of gold color or line is also used in my work, I think gold is the symbol of wealth, but I work hard to hope that the work will not be tacky because of this. I am hoping friends who come to the exhibition will like it, with smile on their face and happiness mood to continue their next trip!!

Yoshuya Hakuta ”OASIS” 2020.06.18
One of the features of my works is texture. I try to use different textures according as the parts of animals such as eyes, month, nose and body so that one work consists of many kinds of texture. I use not only the paints for but also some materials which are rarely used for Japanese paintings, for instance, net, thin Japanese paper and waste paper from shredder. It would be my greatest pleasure if you could feel my original animals with unique textures are breathing in my pictures.
